
WHAT IS UVEITIS?
Uveitis is a general term that describes inflammation of the the eye. Uveitis can be a self-limited single event, or become a chronic, recurrent condition.
WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF UVEITIS?
Uveitis can cause pain, a red eye, floaters, flashes of light, distortion of images and decreased vision.

HOW DO YOU DIAGNOSE UVEITIS?
Uveitis diagnosis requires a comprehensive eye exam and may also include lab tests to determine the source of the uveitis.
HOW DO YOU TREAT UVEITIS?
Depending on the cause, uveitis may be treated with anti-inflammatory eye drops, oral medications, or office based therapies.
