WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF AMD?
Blurry vision, distorted vision, difficulty reading, glare with bright lights, and blind spots are all common symptoms of AMD.

WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF AMD?
AMD has two broad categories: Wet and Dry
- 90%: Dry AMD causes slow degeneration of the retina over time
- 10%: Wet AMD is a progressive form with bleeding and fluid accumulation in the retina
WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF AMD?
Treatment for both dry and wet AMD includes supplemental vitamins, lifestyle modifications including sunglasses and smoking cessation, and close monitoring by a retina specialist. Wet AMD is treated with injections that can be administered safely in the office setting.
